Project Z

Project Z is a player-controlled top-down sandbox game built around a world with multiple levels of depth.

The player can move around the environment, interact with the world, and dig downward along the Z axis. The terrain is built to support vertical progression, allowing the player to move beneath the surface and create paths through different depths.

The current project is focused on building the core player-controlled systems and the underlying world technology needed to support digging, terrain manipulation, movement, and exploration across multiple Z-axis levels.

There are currently no AI-controlled characters. The project is focused on establishing the player, world, terrain, and vertical digging systems first, with more advanced gameplay systems planned for later development.

The long-term goal is to create a world where the player can freely explore and reshape the environment both across the surface and vertically beneath it.
